The newly redesigned EC70 Seatpost takes our superlight unidirectional carbon and applies our patent pending ISA technology - Independent Saddle Adjustment - which allows for completely independent fore-aft adjustment and saddle adjustment. With the 2 pitch adjustment bolts, the saddle angle gets locked into place as if you were adjusting limit screws, and unlike single bolt designs, you get adjustability and security. Available in 20mm Setback and Zero configurations.

Seat slips on the rails at a very fast rate

Despite have all the bolts on tightened to the max, by titanium railed seat slips all the backwards on the rails, until the clamp hits the bend in the rails. What is surprising is that is is doing this in 1 hour of riding on the road. Very disappointed. The installation and adjustment of this seatpost does work very nicely. It seems like the surface area on the clamp where it interfaces the the rails is not great enough. This seatpost came on a higher end bike that I bought, so I guess I just need to buy a different post.

Does not hold the saddle in place

There seems to be a problem with the design of the clamps, at least for round saddle rails. The post does not hold the saddle in place. My saddle slipped backward while riding. After a few miles, it went from its forward position all the way back. During installation, I followed the instructions and used a torque wrench. Tried a couple of times, but to no avail. I hope they take the post back.

Best Seatpost In The World.

Wow. I was amased at the high quality, but that is Easton for you. This is an incredible seatpost, great instructions, easy to install, great looking, and more comfortable than an alloy seatpost. Hats off to Easton!
