Tears, Sweat, and never enough Food: Fernwee.cc and their bikes at Badlands

We heard from the CNCPT team about their struggles and wins at the Badlands race this year, now it's the turn of Fernwee.cc to tell us how it went.

Before we dive into the story, watch the bike check for their custom Focus bikes paired with our premium Easton parts.

You'll find EC90 SL Cranks, EC90 AX bars, and EC70 Seatpost on them.

On Sunday, September 4, Martijn, Finley & Jelmer of the Ride Beyond Crew started Badlands 2022 in Granada on their Focus Atlas. Over a route of 780 kilometers - unpaved - and no less than 15,000 altimeters, these three warriors crossed the Spanish deserts (Gorafe and Tabernas) as well as the mountains of the Sierra Nevada to reach the finish line of the Badlands Ultra race. Mike Vlietstra - who previously held his Badlands photo exhibit in Ride Out - followed and captured Martijn, Finley and Jelmer on film during their trek and made a 90-minute documentary about it. Expect struggle, heat, emotions and beautiful scenery during the race.
